Examples of improved efficacy through working with Release
Australian Ideal A client has a dream of living in Australia, but he had written this off as impossible because of his commitment to his current job. He believed that it was an either/or situation. Through coaching the man was encouraged to consider new options. The result- he was able to negotiate travelling to Australia as part of his work and developing new contacts for his organisation.
Career Choice A multi-talented woman could not decide which career path to take. By drawing attention to her key values and jointly developing a decision framework, she was able to determine her goals, set up an action plan and follow it through.
Improved Performance A client was concerned about a decline in her work performance as a result of relationship difficulties. As a result of one session of coaching in which she was able to discuss her situation, focussing on her needs and ways in which these could be met, the next week she reported that she had much more energy for her work and a new perspective overall.
Unproductive Employee A client running his small business used coaching to generate and explore various ideas he had around his business. He was having performance problems with a junior employee and bought this to the coaching session. The whole situation was discussed including employment legislation. The client took action based on these discussions which included a new model of management for him. The employee decided to leave and as the client said “it did what it said on the tin !” and “I have to say I’m very pleased as now I don’t have to worry about flogging a dead horse and can move to find the right person ,,,, only this time I will be much more picky whom I employ.”
